About Me

Blank Generation is an irregular club night, hosted by irregular people playing irregular music at the Love Apple, Bradford. We've been going since August of 06 and have put on Rose Kemp, Laura Groves, Los Campesinos, Sky Larkin, Das Wanderlust, Monty Casino, Buen Chico, Napoleon 3rd, Bela Emerson and Men Diamler.Blank Generation's aim is to put on nights of a top quality in Bradford, bringing unusual but thoroughly brilliant bands on from across genres but who share in our D.I.Y. ethic. We aim at making our nights a balanced mix of genders, mixing in a bit of feminism and a bit of Marxism as our nights as always non-profit.We are currently collaborating with a mix of people to see what we can come up with in new clubnights in Bradford as the scene has become a little stale of late. We will put on nights whenever we can find a babysitter for our wee twins, so our nights are on the sporadic side at the moment.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Touring bands, musicians, vagabonds, bohemians, fespians, hooligans, femme fatales, artists and Polish plumbers.If you are looking to land a gig in the Bradford, plus do get in touch. Unless you are rubbish. Which most (not all) bands who seem to want gigs seem to be. Really, if we want you to play, we'll get in touch with you, unless you are really good and you actually look at the stuff we like and use your logic and think that we'll like you too.
