Vous les avez peut-être croisés sur une départementale à bord de leur camping car ...Routards infatigables, véritables nomades de la musique, Virginie et Olivier piochent dans les images et les rencontres de leurs épopées qu’ils transforment à volonté. Ainsi, les deux complices donnent naissance à des histoires de Serial Killer, d’Extraterrestres, d’Adam et Eve ou simplement d’Alix.R.

Aujourd’hui, Alix.R livre «Figurine» un album fait de balades urbaines et d'envolées campagnardes. Ces chansons pop mâtinées par l'énergie d'un rock subtil, se distinguent par des mélodies entêtantes et des textes décomplexés, rafraîchissants.
Pour cette bouffée d’air, Alix.R a convié des invités tels que Jeff Gauthier et Fred Payonne (section rythmique de Paul Personne et récemment en tournée avec Calvin Russel).

The story of Alix.R
Traveling the globe, to perform their urban ballads with a laid-back country ease, Olivier, playing the bad boy and the charismatic and always charming Virginie, there is a very good chance you might pass them on the road, aboard their camping-car. These musical nomads have logged hundreds of hours on stage and traveled over 7,000 miles for their latest 70- show tour. Because travel plays such a large role in this loving couple’s life, their songs are greatly inspired by the ever-changing landscape and people they meet along the way.

Their most recent offering is the album, Figurine, (released by Tombee du Ciel) a collection of refreshing Pop-folk songs augmented with subtle touches of rock energy, featuring such artists as Jeff Gauthier and Fred Payonne who recently just got off the road himself with Calvin Russel. In addition, they also just completed the video for the single, “À l'envers", produced in association with ARTE, and is receiving international airplay.
