SLAVELAB

HEAVY METAL FROM BECK'S BEER TOWN

About Me

SLAVELAB already founded actually in winter 1998 by vocalist pete stohlmann and guitarist remo suess and meant to be at first as an industrial metal project. the two guys were jamming, supported by a keyboard and a drum computer meanwhile searching for some line-up which make this project becoming alive. caused by the fact that the to guys both are hell bent for heavy metal, ones decided after a while to put the SLAVELAB project to rest for a long time.
In the meantime (1999-2003) remo & pete dedicated themselves to diverse other projects in hard rock or other metal stuff but without getting satisfaction.
In the spring of 2003 ones conclude to bring SLAVELAB back to a new start which were very obstructive to the band. Ones get always line-up changes until the middle of 2004 which was nearly forcing them to give it up once again.
But in early 2005 the line-up were completed by drummer chris nastulla guitarist jim patterson and bassist mo koelling, so the band had life performances with the bremer bands UNREST ( bluesclub-meisenfrei ) , INFEARIOR, LIFES ENGINE and DO NOT DREAM from oldenburg which plays some tunes for the debut-film of the BREMER-FILMIKANTEN digitale-stoerung by the title of “WAS IST DAS DENN” that has its premiere in the BREMER LAGERHAUS kulturzentrum-lagerhaus .
in the meantime the band has recorded their first demo by the title of “TURNING CIRCLES” which shook the underground metal world and satisfied listeners and get very positive feedback.

for further details and reviews see harvestmoonmusic ( USA) and also bremen-rockt (GER).

In the end of 2005 mo and jim leaving the band by personal reasons.

In the beginning of 2006 vocalist pete leaves SLAVELAB caused by personally reasons too, and remo with chris standing all alone, for the first time, but after a short while bassist christian doersch joined the band. Ones jammed together without a new vocalist insight, because there were no fitted singer personally nor qualitative to push the band.

But in late 2006 pete joined the band again, and brought guitarist timo werner on board to SLAVELAB. The guys are working now on the successor of “TURNING CIRCLES” and their new life set.

Let the show go on and keep the metal alive!
