The Den Of Fuzzbutts

We are rats. Four of us now. Thank you captain obvious. :) We live with this dude who lets us roam around when home. He is a real geek, so he made this page for us. We love him anyway. :)
We came to live with him about 3 years ago. Scarface was the first of us. He was living with the then elder Rizzo who passed On Halloween 2005. Scarface had a rough childhood as he shared the cage with Rizzo and got some nasty wounds from him. That's how he got his name too. Gash to the face that our dear owner thought would leave a nasty scar. Little did he know that we have great healing powers but the name stuck.. Yeah.. he thinks he is a rough badass. :P
Paz came shortly after Rizz, as a cute little snowball that was adopted by Scarface almost fatherly. He was named after Peace since he was so white and innocent. He grew up fast and has over and outgrown Scarface which has led to their falling out. Territory..big balls.. It's a guy thing.. :P
Now we have a new young rat member! Rascoe is the first hooded member of our little menagerie. He is still a little skittish but shows great promise as he is very inquisitive and lively.
We recently moved into a bigger pad and have 2 new roommates besides Rascoe! One is our dude's wife, whom we love dearly. She is real sweet to us and spoils us rotten! The other is (dirty bird) Sanchez, her cockatiel. Now him, we kinda have mixed feelings about. Scarface and Rascoe doen't mind him but Paz is no fan and has tried on a few occasions to munch on his tail.. :P
Scarface left us on December 1st 2007 after battling cancer and paralysis. He is missed by family and friends alike.
Paz followed Scarface not two months later due to an unfortunate accident. Our little ice bear is missed terribly by all that knew and loved him.
We have yet a new member to the den since January of this year. A beautiful, loving Siamese girl which we have dubbed 'Jia'. She is very sweet and is now the baby.
Now we we welcome two new boys, who were rescued from an unnamed pet store were we had watched them since they were little. Marley and Murray Q. Balls. These two litter brothers are as different as they look. Marley is lively, in your face and will take no guff. Murray is quiet, meek and mild.All in all our little family is cozy and happy in the new place and we are curiously awaiting what the future brings.
