Burma-born DJ Angelo has been mastering the turntables since 1995 and is considered to be one of the UK’s few “complete†DJs, balancing musical-sensibility, technical-sensibility, and professionalism - all qualities he has acquired through his many years of varied club and competition circuits.
His performances are energetic, creative and versatile, seamlessly blending only the finest HIP HOP, RnB, FUNK, SOUL, SWING and BREAKBEAT, UK GARAGE and HOUSE with the high level of technical skill he is known for.
He is extremely passionate about keeping the true art of DJing alive and bringing his brand of positive turntable entertainment to satisfy new audiences.
Not only is Angelo a respected National DJ Champion and a sought-after recording artist for scratches, he’s also released a series of highly-acclaimed mix CDs and is now turning his creative hand to production and remixing.
A reputation for consistently delivering the goods has earned Angelo exclusive slots at many prestigious venues and events nationwide with a client base including The Ministry Of Sound, The Urban Music Awards, and Red Bull.
Angelo's skills have also been known to cause quite a stir over the airwaves when broadcasted live on both 1Xtra and the BBC Asian Network.
