Born Mary Rochelle Redmon, in Louisville, KY, to parents John and Mary Ann Redmon, two preaching and teaching giants in their own rights, Mary Redmon was destined for greatness. In the early 80's, the Redmon family uprooted from their humble beginnings in Louisville, KY, and moved to Birmingham, AL, where Daddy Redmon was appointed pastor of a local church. Mary Redmon, along with her two brothers and six sisters combined to form the Redmon Singers, under the direction and tutelage of their music inclined parents. That formation is where her singing talent was discovered and developed. Whereas, church and elementary school and high school and college choirs are where it was honed and cultivated. And, after years of dancing, both in high school and college bands, and on college dance squads, Mary Redmon choreographed her first liturgical dance, while attending the University of North Alabama, her alma mater. As for her songwriting and book writing talents, Mary Redmon wrote her first song at about the age of 16, and was poised to write her first religious book in 2004, which she is still completing.Now, Mary Redmon is poised to take the stage and the film and television industries by storm, with her acting talent. In 2006, she founded Mary Redmon Enterprises to formalize the products she offers, and the services and performances she renders. Mary Redmon Enterprises is slated to release Mary Redmon's Urban Gospel recording, 'Introducing Mary Redmon', and the book 'Finding God: the Holy Bible Supplement that Teaches the Ways of the LORD, Plainly', in the Summer of 2007. Endowed with multiple talents, and armed with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Alabama, where she majored in Entertainment Industry Management, Mary Redmon forecasts that both of these projects, as well as many others to follow, will be extremely profitable for her company, and will propel the performer into her destiny, greatness.
