The Reformation began in 2006, when Seattle musician Westin Glass took time out from drumming in Model Photographer to record "The Floral War," a nine-song record with full-band arrangements. The album explores a range of moods and sounds, but stays rooted in a post-punk/alternative/rock vein. Westin enlisted friends (Boyd Reno, Luke Heath, John Bagley) to add their unique instrumental talents on certain songs. Alex Rose (Model Photographer, Minus the Bear, Heather Duby) mixed the record at the Piano Studio, in Seattle's Capitol Hill.
The live line up now includes Patrick Huerta on drums and John Bagley on bass. The band is currently recording an EP and playing shows in Seattle and the Northwest.
