..Originally from Ecuador, Remi discovered his love for dance at age 8. At age 10 he began to train in B-boying "Breaking" (Old and New School) with some of the legendary masters. He has Studied Capoeira, Hip Hop, Modern, Salsa and Jazz. At age 15, Remi co-founded Fraggle Rock crew, which is comprised of national and international award winning break-dancers. Remi has won numerous awards, including the $5000 prize at the Illadelph Legends (Rennie Harris). Remi has been a member of the Ewajo Collective Ensemble, choreographed and taught for "TURF"(a national award winning Hip Hop group), and was honored to be the youngest member of the Seattle Theater Group's dance company, "DANCE THIS" at 16. Among his credits: Remi performed as a member of the Rennie Harris Dance Troupe in 2005 and has opened up for such artists as Missy Elliot, DJ Clue, Busta Rhymes and for Jurassic 5, the Vans Warped Tour, the kube 93 Birthday Party, and for Collesio de Puyo, in his native country of Ecuador. Remi recently spent two months in Ecuador performing and teaching dance to kids in remote villages. He teaches dance in schools throughout Washington. He spends his free time organizing Hip Hop events, entering competitions nationally and internationally and developing a new hip hop clothing line, F-Rock Clothing.
