Hey....here's a few lines about myself. My main aim in life is to be happy..... sounds like not a lot, but as we all know, there's too much trash which tends to get underfoot now and again....but just best to kick it to the curb and continue along my merry path.
I love life and living it, with all it's ups and downs, and love to meet inspirin, surprisin people... which is rare, but does happen...just keep your lil eyes peeled.
Ive experienced losing some loved and cherished people in my life and I know it has made me appreciate the good which surrounds me....life bein too short n all that. We can all just be a gone in a second....so never put off saying or doing until tomorrow, what can be done today....cos tomorrow may never come....ooooh, so cheery! But this philosophy is really part of who i am.
I am just completing a Fine Art MA whilst i work on a Fine Art degree teaching students the practicalities of making sculpture. So, for anyone who knows, they'll realise this is a time i need to be getting myself entered into competitions etc and getting my stuff out there. I make objects, videos and take photos mainly aswell as draw.. all around the theme of fetish sexuality and death, which i use as a vehicle to be auto biographical.....(enough already).
Ive also over the last year been invited to take pics of friends and associates which was a compliment really, as all they'd seen were photos revolving around my artwork. But I've really enjoyed it, got some pleasing results and am up for doing more along the way.
I am lucky enough to have a few special friends whom i love dearly, whether I see them regularly or not...as is not always possible... but with the age of globalisation, this is not such a problem. I aim to do lots more travelling in my life - I'm currently saving up for a trip to the Americas next yr, for my 40th (eek), culminating in a big party at the Burning Man festival and a lil shopping in NYC....cant wait. I've always wanted to visit South America, so this just seems like the trip to take for that year.
I love my dance music and the many many happy times ive had on the dancefloor, losing myself and becoming part of the tunage matrix, lol.....there's nothing quite like it, and it has been a great healer for me over the years, a real chance for the brain to escape for a few hours....magical.
Anyway, that's about it.... be happy and dont let the petty shit ruin your beautiful life. x
