DESTRUCTION singer Schmier will be a guest in the German TV show "Nachtcafe" (SWR channel). He will talk will guests like: the famous german comedian Bernhard Hoecker, Marc Bator, Kurt Molzer (chief editor of "Penthouse") and the german topmodel Johannes Huebl.

THE POODLES: GUITARIST PONTUS NORGEN LEAVES!!!
THE POODLES guitarist Pontus Norgren has decided to leave the band. Pontus was offered to be the new guitarist of HammerFall, and understandably agreed.
Here's the statement of THE POODLES:
Thank you Pontus Norgren for three fantastic years!
We regrettably have to inform you that Pontus Norgren has decided to leave The Poodles. We would like to thank Pontus for all the great times we've shared and wish him the best of luck for the future.
The Poodles will of course continue the journey we've started together with Pontus but since this is all very new to us we are going to need some time to collect our thoughts and figure out the best way forward.

The German radio station Rockland Radio awarded the so called Classic Rock Awards 2008. There were several categories (e.g. best live band, best album cover, etc.) where the Fans could vote for their favourite stars. Our Metal Queen won the prize for Sexiest Rockstar.

SQUEALER FINISHED RECORDINGS FOR NEW ALBUM!!!
The guys from Squealer just finished the recordings for their new studio album "The Circle Shuts".
Currently, the songs will be mixed in the "Gernhart Studios" in Siegburg before Mika Jussila will do the mastering in the famous Finnvox Studios in Helsinki.
According to the first audio samples, "The Circle Shuts" will include a perfect mix of heavy riffing and great melodies. Soon, you can check out some audio samples on www.afm-records.de
Furthermore, "The Circle Shuts" will come with a big surprise for all longtime Squealer fans. Stay tuned for further information.
SHAKRA: NEW BASS PLAYER!!!
After numberous castings and even more applications, we reached our decision. Shakra has found the successor of Oliver Linder.
His name is Dominik Pfister, he's 21 years old and lives in Allmendingen (in the Canton of Bern, just like the rest of the band).
We are happy to announce that we found a very capable bassist and new bandmate in him!
Important: For the upcoming gigs Oliver will still be playing with us. Dominik's first concert will be announced in due time.

20 YEARS OF U.D.O. - SPECIAL SHOWS ANNOUNCED!!!
U.D.O., the band around former Accept singer and metal icon Udo Dirkschneider, just announced 2 special gigs to celebrate 20 years of U.D.O.
30.04. Solingen (GER) - Cobra (special Clubshow) 03.05. Tuttlingen (GER) - Stadthalle
On April 30th U.D.O. will play a special club show with a very interesting support act: "FALLEN FROM FRAME", with Udo..s son SVEN Dirkschneider on drums! So this will be the very first time that father and son play on the same concert. (after recently Sven performed a song together with Udo at the concert in Düsseldorf in December). After the concert the U.D.O. band will celebrate with their fans at the bar and merchandise will be available for just 50 % of the usual price!
But the real highlights comes a few days later: at the show on may 5th U.D.O. will perform (without supporting act this time) a nearly 3 hour-set, including an Accept part! Also you will see the Mastercutor for the first time with Udo on stage. Again: merchandise prices at 50 percent! This show will be recorded for a DVD/live CD (coming later this year on Zyx Music). So, if you want to be a part of U.D.O. history: be there!
