the condition of my gums
albert einstein, sarah silverman (WATCH "JESUS IS MAGIC". DO IT.), johnny lang (yeah, i'd like to CONNECT w/him, heh heh)
flaming lips, blackalicious, saul williams, billy joel, ac dc, led zepplin, the beatles, d'angelo, johnny lang (mmmm...johnny lang), stevie wonder, the who, yes, sly and the family stone, bjork (genius), rage against the machine, ani difranco, madeline peyroux, diana krall, miles davis, moe., ben folds, dave mathews (pre-everyday), coldplay (not their 3rd album),tears for fears, talking heads, king crimson (b4 the 90's), oysterhead, flying frog briggade, beck, many, MANY others, and my own music, which is a fusion of disco and heavy metal.
LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE (favorite of all time, for now), brick, mysterious skin, irreversable, i heart huckabees, flirting with disaster, the big lebowski, the man who knew too little, super troopers, being john malcovich, freddy got fingered, anything Wes Anderson, anything Quentin Tarentino, most Guy Ritchie, most farrely bros., V FOR VENDETTA, among many others. everything brad pitt does is swell (save mr. & mrs. smith: hollywood garbage, and his accent for Seven Years in Tibet: no bueno). i enjoy films with hard hitting truth in their message (i.e. Lord of War, The Matrix, The Constant Gardener, The Island). a few films i believe should never have been made... Oceans Twelve (though i enjoyed the remake of Eleven), Mr. & Mrs. Smith, most dude flicks (high charged action with minimally developed story to push a plot in which the main objective is to get the next explosion/punch/t&a shot in: and i enjoy explosions/fight sequences/t&a, trust me!), but most of all, the films that should NEVER be made are f*ing chick flicks (emotionally charged muckity-muck, muck, usually of the "romance" genre, in which a grotesquely over dramatic story line pushes the next shopping/crying/finding-the-right-man scene)!!
i don't watch TV. i do indulge in the simpon's box sets, however.
anything Paulo Coelho, the kin of ata are waiting for you, the celestine prophecy, einstein's dreams, harry potter (yes, i admit it), the giver, night by eli wiesel, i am a NEW addition to the TOM ROBBINS fan club! honestly, i can't remember the last book i read to completion that i disliked.
