David Lynch, Hitchcock, Merchant Ivory, James L. Brooks, Clint Eastwood, Jim Henson, Heathers, other stuff I can't think of right now...Oh, and Hooray for Dreamgirls and the FABULOUS Jennifer Hudson, she deserves all the success her exposure on American Idol is finally delivering! just read that again, lol. Read PD James "Children of Men" Now I think that movie should've won adapted screenplay as well as cinematography... the academy is lame.

Television:

Comedy Central, Daily Show, Chappelle Show, Mad TV, Old School SNL from my schooldays when Waynes World was on and Phil Hartman was alive... sigh. Cartoon Network, Teen Titans, Justice League, Adult Swim, Southpark, (especially the musical numbers) Family Guy, (especially the musical numbers) The Simpsons, (especially the musical numbers) Futurama, Robot Chicken, What not to wear, as well as TLC's creepy surgeries eek! (transition to...) Good Eats,(death to Rachael Ray) Pimp my Ride, VH1 Best Week Ever, Sex and the City, 6 Feet Under, Carnivale, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, All in the Family, Bewitched, Family Ties (old stuff) This year, Project Runway, Top Chef, Ugly Betty and of course Heroes! I don't get to watch any of that stuff anymore though, except Buffy in Italian at 3am on Mediaset 1!!

Books:

Margaret Atwood, Stephen King, Maya Angelou, Shel Silverstein, Lawrence Ferlinghetti (I know I spelled that wrong...) George R.R. Martin, Laurel K. Hamilton, James Joyce, Anne Rice, JRR Tolkien, Anne Tyler... So many others but all my books are in storage...drawing big blank here! (Just read "Everything is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Foer, highly recommed it) Also, just finished my first Charles Dickens "Bleak House" don't know what took me so long, he is a phenomenal storyteller! (Of course, the new Harry Potter... read it in 36 hrs)

Heroes:

JRR Tolkien, Danny Elfman, Annie Lennox, Amazingly talented artist and myspace friend Jo Chen,(told you I'd give a shout out!) more than any other celebrity figure,however, the amazing Joss Whedon, who when finally finished signing autographs long after scheduled crossed the room just to sign for me alone, my number one Astonishing Xmen at Wondercon, 3 years ago now?... so awesome, flawless writer, tremendous imagination, but an even cooler person. My true hero though is my incredible other half, my husband Nabil. Everything in my life led me to him and I found him halfway around the world. He is the best man I ever met, I love you!!! Also my grandmother Bette, I wouldn't be who I am without her guidance and support, her wisdom and her love. Thank you. (gag, you'd think I just won an Oscar with that shpeal...)
