Aside Records (as well as Bside Records/ www.myspace.com/bsiderecordings) are new founded online labels for clubmusic.
They are sublabels of Novumrecords, which was founded in 2003 by Ragi Swelim aka Dr. Loop and Rick Maniac who were involded in productions of Space Frog, Loaded Bananas, Rick Maniac & Dr. Loop etc.
The first song they have released on Novumrecords and licensed to Zyx-music/ Kontor Records called Day O (Banana Boat Song) was a cover version of Harry Belafontes greatest hit. It was a smash Dance Hit in all European Dance and Sales Charts. Alone in France they were 12 weeks in the Top 40 of the Official Sales Charts.
