Get Cursors! I have to admit that I have a rather checkered past. I was a 13 1/2 lb. ruffian in a tuxedo for a while. One Nice Couple watched out for me and my girlfriend (a lovely Calico Persian) and fed us. They could not take me in because they already had too many cats. I wandered the neighborhood, sleeping in different yards and going into people's cat doors. I went into one home to get food and then bit her cat! It took my People many months to realize they needed a cat. (They missed their Bunny very much and had decided not to have any more pets.) I would sleep against their basement window and sometimes get invited in for visits and snacks. One night they decided that they really needed to find me a home and brought me inside...I never left...that was 4 1/2 years ago. I have become a contented house cat and most of my manners are good except for one: I Bite! I have been slowly learning that people are my friends and you DO NOT bite your friends! How did I get my Name? Well, after several weeks of pondering the best names (even Fluffy and Cup were considered), my People noticed that no matter where they were in the house, I followed them like a shadow...thus the name Shadow. (and it still fits) In case you are wondering, the Nice Couple took in my girlfriend, Luna, and found homes the three little Persian kittens and 2 black & white tuxedo kittens that we had.
