I was a scientist...at least until I created warp drive. After that, everyone wanted to see my face and talk to me about their "theories," and "postulations," and I prefer other things, like peace and quiet.Well, here's my story. I was working with a team of engineers in Montanta in the early 2060's, where we finally came up with a way to realize my theory of distorting spacetime to propel a ship through space. I took my ship, the Phoenix, up above Earth, and tested the system. It worked-and spurred what I guess they call "first contact" with a race of humaniods called the Vulcans.The first system could only reach speeds that barely touched Warp 2. So I worked with Henry Archer on a method that would push the limits up to Warp 5. Things took off from there, and so did I.I left Earth for the outpost on Alpha Centauri, and finally left to go out 'there' on my own. You'll never find me, so don't try looking.
