About Me

Formed in 2002 and hailing from Western Sydney, RECOIL have released a number of demos; a self titled 2007 EP; and now in 2008 the latest promo CD to give fans and critics a taste of the full length album to come. Classing themselves as a PURE METAL band, RECOIL have shared stages with diverse acts such as Tourettes, Carpathian, On Broken Wings (USA), The Getaway Plan, Gene Defect and The Vaine.
Throughout the six years of progression RECOIL have gained a raw and much heavier sound which is captured in their latest "08" release, with sights set much higher and an overwhelming desire to play as hard as possible. Live shows are the life blood of this heavy metal force.
