we are the Great, the Gross, the Gorgeous & the Grotesque, we are MANIKETT. were all from towns on the south coast such as gerringong, kiama and unanderra all not far south from wollongong.
formed early 2006 with 'serial offender' being the name, with the same line up as today except jb mcmullen drumming. we didnt do alot for a while, just jamming some acdc, nirvana and murderdolls songs. 2 drummers, a changed name, some original songs and some live experience later, we became Manikett.
We've been playing live gigs for over a year now and we've been apart of some awesome events like, Rock in the Park, Kingsford Kickers, Station Streat Sessions, North Kiama skatepark opening, Great gig in the sky, Wollongong Wail, Friday 13th Shave for a Cure gig, and more! as well we've shared stage with some of the greatest acts around, such as - Laceration(rip), Shady Nook, The Rumour Mill(rip), Lint, tHe HoLLoW ceLL, Lumiere, Ant Beard, 19-twenty, Is It Her, the Project, One Puff Wonder, Tuberosity(rip), Yours Truly, The Conspiracy Plan, Samwise & the Pennies, Shock Treatment, Treehuggerz Unite, Scatterplot, Stiff Cookie, Innapropriate, Talkbox, Zygotic, Seek the Silence, Kill Appeal, Calyca Rose, the Sycophants, Stop hard and some other sweet bands from around here and sydney.
