Take Root LLC is an independent music and media company based in San Francisco. Since its inception in 2002 Take Root has become a multi-faceted organization that includes a record label, recording studio, and multimedia branch. By modernizing the traditional music industry business model, Take Root gives itself and its artists increased flexibility in an ever evolving market. We view our relationship with Take Root artists as a partnership, and seek those who need support and not control. As music and media take on new dimensions, we are here to reflect them. Our goal is not just to represent an artist through music, but to represent the artist as a whole work.
