Too many to name....making soap...learning new things. I like to learn about new philosophies and religions. Just about anything. I like to learn new languages as well. I dabble in spanish, french, latin, greek, hebrew, and a little chinese. I like to do anything creative and I like to work out. I knit a little, too. I just started making candles...it's actually quite easy. the violin...yeah, that was fun, too. I think I'll take it up again soon.
Real people as opposed to plastic ones... By the way, if you've read this far, feel free to add me to your friends list and /or send a message. I like meeting new people...but if you're a fake, flake, drama queen, or liar don't bother. Please try to send a message if you want me to add you because I don't want to add someone I haven't spoken to. You know, I'd like to meet people without bullshit. Got bullshit? I don't want it!
I've been listening to the Smiths too much lately. I like '80s music mostly. I also like classical music, blues, punk, whatever sounds right. I don't confine myself to specific categories of music. It has to sound a certain way....yeah...yeah....I can't explain it. Eh, and I also like New Order, Depeche Mode, early Prince (think Purple Rain), The Cure, Joy Division, Morrissey of course and other assorted things too numerous to name. But I'm no music fanatic...I listen to it and I go on my way I don't really keep up with what they do or anything. I can't believe I forgot good ole '60s and '70s music...that's the best stuff. :) And what I mean by best stuff I mean Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett, Iggy Pop, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, (huh-huh) Iron Butterfly, hmm...this list is still in the works...Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry, Brian Eno, and other stuff.
Movies...ok I haven't seen anything too recent. I like most genres of movies and I generally dislike most of the crap that have been in theatres lately. Speaking of crap, I like B horror movies for their amusement value. I've been watching a lot of foreign films lately....they're good entertainment. I love it.
TV??? What's that??? I never have time for that. Wish I did, sometimes. But when I do watch TV, I prefer the BBC and I really miss Dr. Who. The 4th one that is.
Aldous Huxley--Brave New World Nausea-Jean-Paul Sartre The Fall and The Stranger by Albert Camus The Doors of Perception Anthony Burgess--A Clockwork Orange Ray Bradbury--Fahrenheit 451......Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...Most Poetry....Norse Mythology....Neil Gaiman....Stephen King....H.P. Lovecraft...T.S. Eliot....Edgar Allan Poe...I love most books. This list keeps getting longer....The Bhagavad Gita, Samuel Beckett, Cervantes...French Poetry...Spanish Literature...Any kind of Classic Literature...some kinds of newer literature...but I like almost everything I read...Read more Spanish literature it is undervalued and underappreciated, but it's great. Forget the French stuff except for the poetry even though I study both languages. Also, The Complete Works of Saint Teresa of Avila. St. John of the Cross
People who have the intelligence and sense of humor to have their own opinions and outlooks on life. While I'm at it I might as well list some more stuff. :) People with a reverence for life, religion, and culture.
