SONGWRITER/SINGERCassandra Davis has always enjoyed writing poetry from a young age as poetry helped her to release tension and anger. Cassandra grew up in a broken home and is the youngest of five (3 brothers and 1 sister) and she lives to make her mother proud. Although Cassandra's family was neither upper nor middle class citizens Cassandra came to appreciate the things she did have. Cassandra realised from a very young age that there were people who were less fortunate than herself. People who were homeless, starving and dying, Cassandra opened her eyes to slavery and the struggle her ancestors went through! It was this realisation which inspired Cassandra to write both poetry and songs, words from her heart that she believes will comfort people through their plight. Cassandra grew up around a variety music, With her favourite genres being: Reggae, R&B, Hip Hop and Country. In the near future Cassandra hopes to become a successful Songwriter, she believes in the power of thoughts, hence the reason why she always keeps her goals in mind.
