About Me
Started DJ ing in 1984 playing Chicago house and hip hop. Got his first gig from Bassheads member Desa. 1986 started competing in the DMC Technics DJ Championships. Won heats semi finals and was a UK finalist for 2 years. Competed in and won the 1989 DMC Technics European Championships at the BCM in Mallorca. At this time teamed up with equipment manufacturers Vestax, and for the next few years toured every European country and regular work in USA and Japan. Trix was the first DJ to have his own endorsed mixer the Vestax PMC05 TRIX. In the early 90s Trix teamed up with L Double[ Radio 1Xtra] an MC/DJ from Yorkshire working alongside friends Unique 3 on various vinyl outings including some of the most sought after white labels of the time. To present day Trix has Djed all over the world, working along side everyone from Sven Vath to Carl Cox. Studio collaborations with Mike Koglin as DASTRIX , with old friends The Bassheads, Dave Ralph and Matt Fulton. With tunes signed to MOS albums and tracks on Need for Speed video games.
