Aux.78 and ARhodes formed a rockabilly punk band that couldn't play punk or rockabilly so we dabbled in any form of music that we could conjour up and actually perform. Strongly rooted in classic rock, folk, punk, and experimental music Box of Bugs couldn't do any of our roots properly and constantly found ourselves hiding behind loud guitars and banging drums. Lisa "half a leg" BoB later joined the group for various live performances but mostly concentrated on the nonconcentrationable task of recording. Lisa gave rise to the name BOX OF BUGS by lending one of his many names, Bob. The Dom joined the live group with an aggressive style of bass playing. TEK joined the band for the drunken folk band FOLK-A-DOTS AND THE REGENERATION and a mostly recorded version of MY TREMBLING SEGLEGS under the full group THE THICKETS OF MURDERED PIGEONS PRESENT MY TREMBLING SEALEGS FEATURING THE DECAYING SOUNDS OF TRANSMIT. For a short time Justo joined the live group on guitar but never recorded. Desert Los recorded one Cd with the former members of Box Of Bugs called Puncta Lacramailia under the band name MY TREMBLING SEALEGS. Box Of Bugs became a "studio" band and never played a show again. When the smoke cleared Box Of Bugs morphed into many live and recording groups including THE HEADLIGHTS, MY TREMBLING SEA LEGS , BIG FIRE, THE FOLK-A-DOTS & THE REGENERATION, FIRST AID KIT, EARTH MUSIC FOR SPACE PEOPLE, COMFORT, POETS OF NOW, WATCH FIENDS AND RACK SCREAMS, ELECTROLEGS, THE FOLD, AUX.78, FOLK-A-DOTS AND THE REGENERATION, BIKERS ARE PUSSIES, THE SECRET OF..., SEALEGS, TEK, BLACK AZIMUTH, THE QUOTA, FLUSHING SILVER FISH, and ORBIT. a few live attempts at My Trembling Sea Legs have inluded Rev. Rolando Powers, Justo, La mueka, and the Alaskan on trombome. The Last Show involving the ex members of BOB took place at an El Paso Pub called Cantina La Tuya with a mock hanging and fake surgery. The absurd play set to improvisational music was called WATCH FIENDS AND RACK SCREAMS titled after a disturbing book. For a time El Salvage 1 joined the group to receive punishment and public humiliation involving food.
