Instruments, playing them, writing songs, making some noise and one hell of a scene. Enjoy, or don't i really don't care either way you have free will to do whatever you please. The Raving Degenerates started out a long time ago as concept joke band with many different names like Smells Like Green, Free Grass, and The Hooligans, but nothing ever materialized outside of a handful of stupid tuneless poems. Eventually like every other fucker I picked up a guitar and started trying to not suck at it, but I still do. Also in the conception of The Raving Degenerates, I had to question what genre of music I wanted to play, because pretty much any genre appealed to me, but the only things i could see myself doing where metal and experimental music, so I did. With the help of a computer program I peiced together fragments of songs into a semi-coherent mass that I dubbed "Songs That No One Wants To Hear," and from that sprang the concept of a circus gone mad leading little impressionable children into tragedy and despair, and thus "The Wayward Circus" was born. Up next are a five song EP, and a full length twenty song album about tedium squalor and the demise of the world as a result of our own vanity. Stay tuned for more details and possible live shows.
