2-23-09 Hello friends and fans. I'm sorry to say that the band no longer exists. The band split sometime in August 2008 and we never got to finish our EP. There are 2 tracks recorded with the full band but the mixing never was finished with one track and the other is still in the process. Hopefully someday we will be able to post the tracks, but until then I'm sorry to say there will be no more music from Lick Like a Lion. Some of us have current projects if your interested in the music you can check them out...

7-4-08 Our first show is tomorrow @ the Kingston Skate Park with Logos, All of the Olives, Neutral Boy and Triple Forte. the Skate competition starts @ 12pm-4pm and the music starts around 4pm-8pm. We will be headlining the event and starting around 7pm. We will be playing some of the new songs with a special guest appearance starting the one year drought from our last show. New members and a different drive but still instrumental. And on July 18th there is going to be another show TBA, thank you for the support and we hope you all can make the show and dance for America. Happy 4th...
2-17 A sudden change in the wind, cast a bright sunlight to burst through the clouds on the plain fields of lions. New member Jonny "Chronns" has came to join our pack of crusaders on the synth and anything else he feels like incorporating. We've got our selfs with one song complete as a band. Which was very difficult with 3 new members and practicing has been an experiment. But is alot of fun with more noise. ambience, and energy. And some news about a gig sometime in april we maybe playing our first show in almost one fucking year! 1-12-08 Good news my friends great things are in store for the band. We got our first full track complete and made a quick demo recording last week. Also we have been waiting for the special sex sprinkles and Tony Alecci has covered our cupcakes [music] with oh so many [guitar treats/lines]. 11-27 Hopefully someone got the hint that we haven't been posting new music or releasing more tracks, we took a needed break from the band. But within the past weeks we've been working on new tracks and starting back up again and added another band member Demi Wilson. We are no where near of having any shows or booked shows in the near future but hopefully we may post some other tracks off "A Driftwood Theorem".
