In the late summer of 2006, Y.O had a conversation with Frankie Gunz about going through a "Destroy and Rebuild" process. "Destroy" everything that was negative and "Rebuild" off what was left. A few weeks later Y.O contacted The New ERA and told him about his idea. The New ERA was all for it. They began to recruit and picked up R&B Sensation Ones and newcomer Uzi. When asked, "what is The Bottom Line Legacy?†the answer is simple, five different personalities, five different styles, one goal. That goal is to achieve supremacy in the game known as "Hip Hop". Y.O is the General (CEO/Founder) of B.L.L., having put together a dream team of diverse acts on 1 roster while still captivating audiences with his diverse flow and swagga. Frankie Gunz is the other General handling promotion and business aspects for the label. Tha New Era (Colonel) brings multiple styles and flows as well as clever punch lines and thought provoking lyrics to the table. Ones is the R&B artist to the team, but he’s not your average "singer", as his abilities have demonstrated that he can still reveal to you the dark, not so pleasant side of the hood as well as get the ladies in the mood. Uzi has been known as the "newcomer" but his hunger and motivation definitely makes him a force to be reckoned with. Right now they are currently working on The Bottom Line Legacy compilation as well as getting ready to go on the East Coast based I-95 Tour. Look for solo albums from each artist in 2007.
