My hometown is Detroit, Michigan. I spent a good part of my life up there until I headed to FL. I played drums in a lot of bands growing up and had some wild times. At one point I played in 3 bands at once. A good friend of mine was really big into the goth/fetish thing and I credit her with dragging me out all over the place and really enjoying life. For some reason I decided to join the Army when I was 19. I spent 4 years in the Army ; I served in the 82nd Airborne Division completing one unit exchange with the British Parachute Regiment as well as deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. I completed my service as a SGT and aside from some aspects of the military I had a great time. I went to school at PBCC, Liberty University, and Gold Coast School of Construction. Following my time in the service it was difficult finding work so I ended up in construction. I went from a SGT in the Army to starting at square one as a laborer. It was a humbling experience though and taught me a lot. I worked for several construction companies slowly working my way up. Eventually I got my General Contractors license and started my own company. I specialize in commercial construction, construction management, and government work. I would measure success as having the means to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Ultimately I believe the legacy we leave behind should be based upon how we have made a difference in our own way. Being good stewards of not only ourselves but the things which we have been given responsibility over I believe should be the goal. Our lives should be the ultimate witness of our faith. The time I spent traveling both in the military and in my work really got me hooked. I hope to eventually revisit most of the places I have been. Growing up my two of my favorite movies were Endless Summer 1 & 2. It’s the story of two guys who quit their jobs and go surfing around the world.
