"In 2000 Docta Dawe made the best investment of his life. Two used Gemini turntables and an old Radio Shack mixer for $200 at the local pawn shop. At 17 He was exposed to electronic music for the first time, and spent most of his time buying the records he heard in the club at the local record store. He jumped head first into the rave scene, where he played at legendary raves such as "Liquified", "Imagine", and "The Turntables Massacre". That's where the ruckus on the dance floor began.... Since Dawe has been involved in the Orlando nightlife scene he has been very active as a DJ, Event Organizer, and promoter throwing countless successful parties, managing weeklys, and playing hundreds of events all over the southeast. His events have received write-ups in the “Orlando Weekly“, “Central Florida Future†and various other publications. He has played events with "MTV's Real World" cast members, Playboy Playmates, and spun vinyl alongside Steve Aoki, Tittsworth, 2 Live Crew, DJ Funk, Travis McCoy (Gym Class Heroes), Bonde De Role, Villains, Gabe Saporta (Cobra Starship), Baby Anne, Adam 12 (She Wants Revenge), Ladytron, Datarock, Skeet Skeet (shwayze), Magic Mike, Wutam & J-Break, Cyberian Knights, AK 1200, DJ Dara, DJ X just to name a few. In 2008 Dawe was voted #2 Best Club DJ by the prestigious "Orlando Weekly" along with his company orangecountyconcepts.com which was voted #3 best local website in all of Orlando. His trademark crowd-hyping, fist pumping antics have become some the most influential sights and sounds in town."
