DJ $PILLZ was born in Pensacola, FL. He moved to east Pensylvania when he was 5 years old. At age 7 $PILLZ fell in love with hip hop music after his uncle Scott from Pensacola, that managed a record store, sent him a Beastie Boys and a Run DMC cassette tape. Young $PILLZ liked to make his on remixes using 2 to 3 cassette recorders at once. Then he would make mix tapes with all of his songs on it and and then pass them out to all his lil bratty, punk ass friends for their listening pleasure.
At age 10 Young $PILLZ put his music a side for a little and became a 5 star chef in Italy. He cheffed up some of the finest cuisine ever tasted. People would come from miles away to taste such dishes as his: Aged bologna spagetti topped with a pickled hard boiled egg sauce and and lets not forget the all so famous spicy Jamican pigs feet over easy wrapped in miniature lambs tounge with a sprinkle yellow-tailed woolly monkey, aka Choro de Cola Amarilla, urine, (very rare). But his passion was still music. He gave it all up, the money, cars and women, everything and moved back home at the age of 11. He had also become quite a fat ass living in Italy and had to lose the extra 237 pounds that he had put on.
Speeding things up, $PILLZ then got into spinning on a set of Technic turntables when he was 17. At 18, $PILLZ then bought his first pair of Technic turntables. His roommate at the time Pichardo, and friend, DJ Caraby, began to teach him the fundamental skills of scratching and mixing. Soon after, $PILLZ started spinning at house parties, later moving onto bars and clubs in Allentown, Pennsylvannia.
For a change of lifestyle and scenary, $PILLZ decided to move from Allentown, PA down to Orlando, Florida where he met DJ DoctaDawe and Philthy Phil. $PILLZ, DJ DoctaDawe, and Philthy Phil created Deafening Audio, where they began throwing parties and obtained residency spots at Haven Nightclub and other small clubs. $PILLZ was holding down a full time job which only allowed him to spin on the weekends keeping him from being able to spin at all Deafening Audio events. In his spare time, $PILLZ would accompany DJ DoctaDawe to his residency spots. $PILLZ was able to spin for various events, the most memorable being MTV's Reality Bar Crawl featuring cast members from Real
World and Road Rules at Level 3 Nightclub in Tampa, Florida.
Currently, DJ $PILLZ lives in Hawaii, where he still spins at clubs and house parties. He lives with his beautiful wife Serena and her daughter Saydey. $PILLZ will be spinning at upcoming events in Honolulu. $PILLZ now belongs to a crew called the "East Orange County Crunk Crew" (E O TRIPLE C).
