Both sides of my family are from St. Lucia so I have always been around reggae and soca / zouk music from an early age. I started buying reggae records since the early 90’s, during the time the Gargamel Buju Banton exploded on the dancehall scene. Up till now he is still my favourite reggae artist & one of the reasons I got deep into my dancehall music. Soon after that I began DJ’ing in North London as part of a sound system and after the sound split, I carried on by myself.
I play all types of music since my record collection crosses numerous boundaries from roots & culture, lovers rock to RnB/ Hip-Hop. My speciality lies definitely within dancehall music & all the other forms of reggae music.
I have played in various clubs in London, Birmingham and Brighton. I have hosted a radio show on Smooth FM 93.8 (www.radiosmooth.com) in the West Midlands, Jiggy Radio (www.jiggyradio.com - 105.6) in london and now I currently play every Saturday 3-5pm on www.axefm.co.uk ....So check me out!!!
I also promote various club nights so, if there are any promoters/artists that want their music to get some radio airplay or if you want to perform a live PA then get in touch.
