1st Off: All my beats ARE ORIGINAL made by myself & friends ... Garnell Limperes Stuart was born a 1/2 Greek, 1/2 Bahamian little girl into a family of musicians ... Daddy was a drummer & singer, mummy played the guitar & piano & sang ... was a music school teacher ... they were in separate bands & later united into the hottest Bahamian band in the late 70's-early 80's. I was born in '83 ... a performer by birth ... used to sleep in guitar cases ...
By the age of 6 I was tap dancing, singing,and playing piano, doing ballet, etc. My mom died at the age of 7, & I moved from the Bahamas to live with my mom's side of the family in suburbs of Chicago. There I stopped my performing, but continued deeper than ever into piano ... Classical piano was the only escape I had to cure me of depression during my younger years ... throughout school ... during junior high & high school I searched for other means of Expression ... art camps in the summer ... writing classes other summers ... pottery, photography, tv production, poetry, journalism, etc...any form where I could express how I felt ... the vast pool of unknown feelings ...In high school I was deep into leadership programs ... trying to help others ... tv host for school station ... P.E. Leader, Peer Leader, Peer Mentor, Guidance Counselor Aid, Track&Field Motivator, Lifeguard, Swimming Instructor, Child Development ... etc.My dad found me my last month of my high school year. I picked my life up & moved back to the Bahamas. Reuniting with my dad, I longed for the answers to who I was, where I came from. He passed away a few years later when I was 19. I have been in the Bahamas ever since ... fulfilling my missions in life ...I've started Abaco Poets Society, have a non-profit organization G-Star Productions ... I promote talent, network, put on concerts, etc... I perform on live stage as a rapper/spoken poet ... I play for art functions and special occasions (weddings,etc) as a classical pianist ... I teach piano ...I am a still life model for painters (check the website), and for clothing designers ... I have a network (check the website) which connects artists of all types ... painters, writers, musicians, etc...I'm also the liaison on Abaco for the Grand Bahama Entertainers, Musicians, & Artists Association ... it is a network throughout the Bahamas Islands ... So ... here I am ... tryin 2 do big things...At the beginning of my networking, I considered myself a Baby to the game ... growing the name BabyG. At this time I had the outline of my tatoo done. Within time, as I grew deeper into the music realm, I gained my wings, and grew into a more focuesed artist ... therefore the name L.A.D.Y. G ... L.oving A.nd D.etermined Y.outh, I Spread My Wings & Speak the Truth...I believe in Collaborations & Unity ... Spread The LOVE.I've finally been able to spread my wings & speak the truth ... I'm still learning ... I may not be able to change the world ... but I can make a difference ...MUSIC IS THE KEY. Oh ... I'm a FREE SPIRIT ... had many jobs ... dental assistant, ticket agent, Massage Therapist & Yoga Instructor, etc ... mostly bartendering/waitressing ... I'm currently a promoter & teach piano on the island of Abaco ... as well as plunging into many side events ... but that's another story ...Peace
