Aaron Sings

Aaron has been singing ever since he can remember. Born in 1976, Aaron was brought up with a jazz-singing mother and graphic designer father who was also pastor of their church. Aaron has 1 older brother and 2 older sisters. Aaron has always been musical, he took classical piano lessons from the age of 4 up until he was 14 and also has a couple of years experience playing the saxophone whilst at high school.Aaron’s love though has always been singing and he always knew that someday he would like to sing professionally. He studied singing at home, practising with his mother when she would rehearse for her performances. At the age of 17, Aaron moved from his parents home in Cramlington (near Newcastle upon Tyne in the North of England) to London and became a member of Rainbow Churches International. After a few years of teaching vocals on the church's performing arts course, Aaron auditioned for and became a member of The London Community Gospel Choir in 1998.Since then and until July 2005, he travelled the globe extensively with the choir and the 7 or so years he spent within LCGC enabled him to hone his singing skills to a professional level. During his time with LCGC, Aaron was also involved in session work including TV, Radio, Live and Studio work with artists such as, R Kelly; Gloria Gaynor; Mica Paris; Elton John; Beverley Knight; P Diddy & Faith Evans; Lemar; Jamelia; Heather Small; Jimmy Cliff; Westlife; Will Young; John Legend and he is one of the regular background vocalists for Myron (www.myroncd.com) when he performs in the UK and has recently been a background vocalist for Conya Doss (www.conyadoss.com). Apart from being a vocalist, Aaron also writes and provides vocal arrangements for other artists/producers. Currently, Aaron is writing for his solo project as well as travelling with the Gorillaz as a backing vocalist.
