Benjamin Thomas Gillham was born in The City of Chester on the 22nd June 1988. He is currently in Birmingham studying Opera at Birmingham City University Conservatoire of Music. He is a classicaly trained Tenor Singer, to Grade 8 standard of The Assosiated Board of the Royal School of Music, and is a member of the National Youth Choir of Wales, Four Counties Youth Choir and The Sirenian Singers.

In 2005 Ben visited Nicaragua in Central America as part of the Wales Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign, which inspired him to write his first album 'Under The Sun'.
In June 2005 Ben was asked to write the soundtrack for the Shakespeare Schools Festivals version of Macbeth in partnership with the BBC, to be performed in Clwyd Thatre Cymru, he was also then asked to play the role of Macbeth.
At present Ben is working on re-writing the Macbeth soundtrack into an extended album, this is due for release in 2007. You can hear a demo of the opening track on this website.
