Derrik Cooper

Evangelist Derrik Alexander Cooper, Jr. is the eldest of five children of Derrik & Roberta Cooper,Sr. Derrik’s father recognized his son’s interest in music and prayed that God would give him a gift to play. From a child, Derrik always associated music with church. After relocating to the Metropolitan Atlanta area from New Jersey in 1986, Derrik continued with his love for music. In 1991, he became a part of the music ministry of Pastor Keith Brooks and New Creation, not knowing that his faithfulness to God and to the New Creation ministry would lead him to becoming the Music Director, which he continues to serves as. God not only gifted Derrik to play music, but also anointed him to write, arrange and produce it. God has allowed Evangelist Cooper to see the world and share his musical gifts with some of the most prominent artists in the Gospel Music Industry such as Donnie McClurkin, Kurt Carr & the Kurt Carr Singers, Dottie Peoples, Georgia Mass Choir, Donald Malloy, Angella Christie, Dorothy Norwood, LaShun Pace, the Anointed Pace Sisters and Pastor Murphy Pace and the Voices of Power, just to name a few. In 2001, after attending All Nations Church of God and helping in the Youth and Music ministries, Minister Cooper placed his membership there under the leadership of the late Bishop George Hoke, who he found great favor with. He received his Minister’s License at All Nations, where he served as Minister of Music and is currently serving as the Assistant Pastor, under the leadership of Pastor Keith D. Brooks. In February of 2006, the favor of God was bestowed yet again upon Evangelist Cooper, as he was appointed and currently serves as Music Director at Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral, under the leadership of Founder/Senior Pastor, Bishop Dale Bronner. Evangelist Cooper accepted the call of Evangelism and his desire and passion is to see souls saved, set free and delivered. One result of this passion and through the inception of the Holy Ghost, was the birth of the Power Generation Youth Ministry – a ministry, with the goal of bringing together youth from across metro Atlanta in a power-packed, energy-filled, anointed Praise & Worship experience! Through the Power Generation Youth Ministry, many youth, as well as adults, have come to know Christ in a “relevant” way and have either accepted Christ for the first time or have been lead to re-dedicate their lives to Christ and live sold out to Him, under Evangelist Cooper’s leadership. Through a lifestyle committed to consecration, fasting and prayer, God continues to manifest Himself through the ministry of Evangelist Cooper, with great outpourings of His Spirit during times of ministering. God has placed a special anointing upon him in the area of deliverance and breakthrough to those who are bound, leaving an indelible mark, to the Glory and honor of God. Evangelist Cooper possesses the Spirit of Excellence to do whatever his hands find to do for the Kingdom of God. He stands confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in him will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ!
