Band Members: "The Square Window" and "Winter Song" are taken from my album "Lost Wax" and feature Gary Simons on double bass and John Perry on drums. They were produced by Barkley McKay.
The other two songs are demos for musical theatre productions. "Botany Bay Bound" is written from the point of view of convicts being transported from Britain to Australia in the Eighteenth Century. It was used in an adaptation of "Our Country's Good" by Timberlake Wertenbaker. "Beasts of England" is my setting of George Orwell's words from his novel "Animal Farm". The other vocalist on this demo is Kate Peters.
