About Me

At 5 feet 7 inches, with green eyes and brown hair, Shandi is extremely attractive with a sexy and exotic look. Her vocal range starts at a low soprano and elevates over several octaves. Her dancing is among the best and is influenced by Janet, Brittney and J-LO. Shandi knows what her generation wants in music and has dedicated her life to the music business. Shandi was born in Asheville, NC on December 15, 1986, and had always dreamed of performing. Before Shandi could even talk, she was singing. That was the way her parents taught her to speak. They would sing the alphabet or sing the letters of her name, and Shandi would sing back to her parents. That's how she would learn everything in the early days. Shandi always had an ear for music. Shandi started dancing at the age of 2. Her first tap solo was at the age of 3. Shandi continued dance training, (Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern etc.), throughout high school. She was a member of the “Showstoppers” dance team, performing for every half-time show at all games for her high school. Shandi was cast in multiple lead roles in different dance performances.Shandi moved to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2005 in pursuit of her life long dream to become a superstar. While working at a local restaurant and singing out load in the kitchen, she was discovered by Jerry Ballard. Jerry introduced Shandi to Leroy Harper (horn section leader for James Brown, the Godfather of Soul). Leroy then introduced Shandi to Larry Fridie, (several gold and platinum awards for record sales), James Brown's former business manager. After partnering with Jerry and seeing Shandi sing and dance, Larry Fridie knew Shandi had the complete package and decided to sign her to a management contract. Larry Fridie also represents Kenny Kold (produced Dem Franchise Boyz with Jermaine Dupree), who also agreed that Shandi has the total package. Kenny Kold produced the tracks, “When I'm Gone”, “The Blame”, and “Let Loose”. Larry then brought in Derrick Monk (produced more than 100 songs for James Brown, including the multi-million selling album "Live at the Apollo 2000"), who agreed Shandi has the total package, and produced the songs "Whats Up" and “I'll Do”. Larry stated that Shandi can crossover and fill in the void left in the music business now that Brittney is a mother, and all the other girls are reaching their mid to late 20's. Shandi, at 20, is prime for the market. Multi Million sales producers, Kenny Kold and Derrick Monk were brought on because we wanted to assure any record company that we are fully committed to Shandi's project.

Sounds Like: The Songs:

“The Blame” – Written and produced by Kenny Kold – The song "The Blame" is simply the cross-over super Hit. It is about how a guy is the blame for destroying this high school made in heaven love affair. Shandi shows her very sexy, trendy, vibe-y voice and style. This mid-tempo hard guitar and strong bass beat creates a rough edgy trendy sound that identifies the soul of Shandi.

“When I’m Gone” – Written and produced by Kenny Kold – The song "When I'm Gone" is the turn-table ready club mix. It’s new-wave and electro-trance hip-hop mixed with pop and deft instrumentation will captivate the club scene from New York to Miami to Japan to London to LA.

"Let Loose" – Written and produced by Kenny Kold – The booty shaking song "Let Loose" is rough, edgy and fun. It will create a "New Dance Craze" in the clubs, when in the song’s second hook Shandi sings "Grab Me By The Waist". Let Loose unfolds with a deceptively easy-paced dance groove, that balance the more assertive, dance floor-friendly grooves with that 808 base. Its about getting on the dance floor and letting loose and having fun with anyone.

"What’s Up" – Written and produced by Derrick Monk – "What's UP" is the spin off of the most famous words used by millions of people every day, "What's UP". This song is indicative of a broad gamut of grooves from streetwise hip-hop and new-wave-etched rock with well-crafted pop. It expands mainstream listeners with infectious hooks and clever lyrics, deft guitars and drum licks. It will have millions of kids singing and dancing to "What’s Up".

"I’ll Do" – Written and produced by Derrick Monk – Among the more sensual songs is “I'll Do”, on which Shandi seductively floats her voice atop an arrangement of pillowy strings and sultry piano lines. It’s about finding out a High school popular guy, and her love, has violated her trust, love and all. How time can't heal the pain, but in the end she is the winner and strong.

"Telling Lies" – Written and produced by Royal Leopard – Has a Reggae feel, but can crossover to various markets. It’s about the heartbreak of finding out that the one you have put your trust in has been telling lies from the very beginning.
