The Solo experience, is the result of the fact that he cannot help writing music, and it goes without saying that we are talking about Metal Music. His Composition aren’t static or repetitive, and this is because of his good knowledge of Music itself, and his many experiences in various Bands, always bearing in mind his original "Trade Mark" and the "Gibson - Marshall" Sound. He takes the first steps in 1989 with the original Line Up of the Band "Overdose". Then his personal Sound evolves into a more technical Thrash.
His Great Friend and Drummer Franco DeMartino, shared OBE’s musical evolution and with the name "Disconnected", they toured Italy and eventually created also a new personal project called "Egypt", where they dealt with Themes and Sounds related to the Ancient Egypt. In 1999 OBE, together with 3 of the former Egypt members, gave birth to the Crossover Death Metal Band... "Acromion", and their disciples got to know their innovative Sound throught "Metal Hammer (Italy)" in April 2001. Always in 1999 OBE, with the help of singer Paolo (both willing to experience a wider range of musical genres) gave rise to a Side Project named "Hall Of Torture" releasing a Mini CD, the Sound of which ranges from the most Extreme Metal to Symphonic Black Metal, while the lyrics deal with the Medieval Tortures. In Year 2000, the new MINI CD "Acromion" is welcomed with enthusiasm by critics but totally ignored by Italian Producers. May be that’s because its musical innovation was not suitable to the traditional sale channels. This is a major reason for the end (????) of Acromion. In the meantime OBE started in 2003 his solo Project, like a real "OneManBand"... The OBE’s first solo releasing is "The Heart of the Dragon"... a Concept CD-Single, with 3 Songs that explain the Story of a Great Dragon’s Knight... in this release is the first time to OBE, to recording a Video-Clip... Now he continuous with his "OBE" Solo Project... and other works will see the Light...!!
