UNITED FOR WORKERS RIGHTS

About Me

Work for the city, married, live in brooklyn, becoming more convinced daily that the system is even more messed up than I ever truly realized and must be changed.

My Interests

Into politics, history, community organizing as working people. I like green tea, ginseng, watching the Sopranos, punk rock, Brecht's poems.

I'd like to meet:

Open-minded people.

Music:

Punk and hardcore. Hip hop. Ska and Reggae. Old country. Various. Lately, I've been partying to ranchero, cumbia and reggaeton at NMASS' Brooklyn Workers' Center on the First Friday of every month, so I've kind of warmed up to that. I've learned to be open-minded towards people whose music I hate (some of my best friends were New Kids fans).

Movies:

Roger and Me is my favorite documentary. NMASS' "Our Voices" video. Jennifer Wager's "Venezuela Rising." "Justice in Your Face" by the Young Workers' Project. Too many to name.

Television:

Save Public Access TV! www. saveaccess.com.........

Heroes:

People who organize with others to stand up for themselves against oppression and exploitation.
