My name is Lee. Welcome to my page.
My last solo effort is available below finished late 2007. Brand new band an material on its way!!!
Here is the rundown...
Between late July of 2007 I had been working on a bunch of songs. I intended on recording a 3-track demo but then fractured my toe, found myself housebound for a couple of weeks and accidently recorded a 9-track CD which is what you have here, I completed the it in November 2007. I recorded it in my flat above a boozer in London W12 on a PC and used one microphone (as I only have one). I used only acoustic instruments and anything else laying around to produce the sounds I needed. It’s a kind of showcase for the songs to get them out into the world to see what people think, the DIY approach.
Instruments used include: acoustic tenor guitar, acoustic guitar, djembe, hang drum, pint glasses, wooden spoons, shakers, plastic bottles, pop shields, cymbals, singing, talking, whispering, shouting, sound clips from al-jazeera, live recordings on the tube, the pub, the sea, the rain, the road outside, thunder and Darren on bowed double bass (cheers dude).
