About Me

Family Guy is ace.

I am currently living in Nicholson E Block, at the Lawns, in Hull (which is the best place to be :P), as I attend the University here. Tis not as bad a place as some people make out (as far as i know)

She made me do it =(

P.S. Thanks to Faron for using some code generator to help me get my background displaying as I wanted it.

My Interests

I'll do most things really, I'm really trying to write a book at the moment though, so I suppose I should put writing. Music-wise I like a fair bit of stuff. InMe and Incubus are my favourite bands, so that kind of area. My favourite television series has got to be 24 (which is far better than Lost xP) and my favourite film at the moment is probably still Last Samurai. Books-wise I like practically anything that isn't completely based on truth to the point its something you probably read in the paper, or saw on the news a few years ago. So yeah I read Harry Potter, I'm sure you have done too :P

I'd like to meet:

Kate Beckinsale and Brandon Boyd spring to mind. Other than that anyone who wants to meet me if we're honest.Oh and I'm currently looking for people who read a lot, and are critical. The kind of people that complain about the small details in a film such as some bloke in the background picking his nose in a tense situation. You'll know what I mean anyway, message me if this is you =]

Music:

I kind of wrote about that in Interests, but I suppose I can write some more. I'll list off bands who I tend to listen to: InMe, Incubus, Linkin Park, Coldplay, Billy Talent, Bond, Radiohead, Lostprophets, QOTSA, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, 3 Days Grace, 3 Doors Down, Muse, RHCP, 12 Stones, Submersed, Opeth(ish) and there are many other that I can't really think of right now.

Movies:

Again, I'll just list off films I enjoyed. A History of Violence, Donnie Darko, Butterfly Effect, Cypher, Matrix Trilogy, LOTR Trilogy, Underworld, Van Helsing, Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve, Billy Madison, Big Daddy, The Rock, Face-off, Gone In 60 Seconds, Last Samurai, Bad Company, National Treasure, American Pie 1 and 2 (not seen The Wedding) and again, probably loads more that don't spring to mind. Oh and for those of you film buffs who are currently thinking OMFG HE LIKES VAN HELSING WHAT A PRICK, the film entertained me, that is the point of a film isn't it?

Television:

Can't get a signal in my room in Hull, but I never really watch much TV anyway, I used to watch the music channels mostly.

Books:

Arf lots. I read lots, tis better than complaining of boredom :P David Gemmell's books have all been good so far, Harry Potter as I've said, Garth Nix's Old Kingdom series (Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen) Phillip Pullman's Dark Materials (it surprises me that this is so popular by the way :s) Trudi Canavan's Voice of the Gods thing seems alright as well.

Heroes:

Jk Rowling (the story of how she wrote that book was inspiring, even it was lies, its still ace :P) Oh and Jack Bauer, but that really goes without saying, and the end of season 5 is bullshit, there's no way he should have let that happen. Roll on season 6!
