"Burn down the churches, rewrite all their glitches, we are the faces that make all their itches" spews Sinnergod in their title track song "The Revolution".
Conceived by XeS in the summer of 2001 after a very drunked night in his little home made studio sinnergod was born,we are are the UK`s next middle finger to the system taking no prisoners along the way. We have have built up quite a following over the last few years experiencing phenomenal feedback from released tracks to sellout shows around the uk gaining mass press interest.
(The Southport Guardian said)
"It was a night that will stick in the memory - for all the right reasons. Shock goth band Sinnergod swept into Southport last Friday and took absolutely no prisoners at the Fubar. This outfit know how to rock. They are loud, brash, aggressive, in your face, but also very theatrical and very entertaining" says the Southport Guardian after a sellout show at the Fubar in 2005.
The band is currently finishing work on their debut album which is as of yet untitled. Sinnergod are hoping for release sometime in 2007. Including tracks such as "Forsaken", From the rocks fell a stone" and the war hungry yet controversial "The revolution and the last bullet" the tracks have had a lot of airplay so far all over the UK,America and beyone also with loads of play at local rock venues, with outstanding responses.
Also keep your eyes peeled as sinnergod are going to be corrupting your innocent minds on tv this 6th september as they were approached by itv 1 to represent new up and coming band vehicles such as converted hearst`s(funeral cars) to gothic limos, the band picked the best car and drove around for a while scaring the shit out of the locals
and getting fantastic reactions from the "not so goth kind"
they were then filmed live rocking out at there local gig spot doing what they do best.
Now as they enter 2007 with what they would call their best line-up Sinnergod are yet again ready for business and are planning future shows around the UK in particular the band will be performing at the UKs number one Metal Festival BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR on saturday 18th august 2007 at 3:00 pm on the second unsigned stage,to coincide with the anticipated release of their debut album.
