It's Alive!! It's A-LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVEEEEE!!!!

About Me

Against Theory has come to an end on 17.07.08. Remaining members are now teamed up with a new drummer and working on new material. We have dropped the Against Theory name, cancelled all gigs, dropped all previous material and changed direction and sound. A new name is t.b.c. Expect the unexpected! These are the old demos I did solo on a Yamaha PSR9000 keyboard with a few even older ones that I did on a Roland E- erm,...something. I don't know, I gave I to my brother, ask him.I live in the Lancashire countryside with my wonderful wife Ellie anywhere between 8 - 18 cats, 3 birds, 2 fish and numerous frogs in the pond. Music has always been important to me and influencial in many things I do. I first started playing an instrument when my Mum asked me if I would like to learn how to play the organ. 4 years of lessons and alot of hardwork and I passed my grade 8. I wrote and performed my first song at 16 for my school GCSE music exam. Since that time I've played keys in many bands of many genres. It was doing these demos however, that gave me the confidence to try out as a vocalist for Against Theory. Using a very different vocal style to the one heard here, succesful gigs followed and things were going well. A bump in the road with differences of opinion and Against Theory is no more with the departure of a founding member. We decide to turn this to our advantage and exploit the new creative freedom to it's full potential.Time will tell................
