Spheres of intelligence is a music group/liveband under the Spheresaxis label - for those wondering what this site is all about - it's members include Kevin and Sword(Shaif) and live guests include friends Jun Nakane and Trevor DePagie of DSOA industries.Our asparations and goals as follows. To incorporate our life influences into art of sound, vision, thoughts, feelings and other extraodinary sensories through channels of lush electronics and acoustical musical instruments - analog and digital sounds, various software and hardware along with live gears. to bring forth lush sound mixes and other mediums to a reciprocating audience. The initial concept to bring back future ideas to the year of 1983 and have them played as they would have then thus being born in 1983.Concieved and concepted around late 2001 - demontown-(Edmonton) Alta, Canada. Kevin and Sword, late shift order pickers at an industrial saftey and supplies warehouse, decided to put their ideas of new sounds to test after screwing around during work hours tapping on various grinder discs and metal racks after finding out they had their own musical notes as they would hit the different sounding discs and other objects.Later on in the summer of 2002, basment jams which would turn out to be the first real song completed - "Wormwood revelation" through software and a Boss - Voice/Tranformer vocoder.Summer 2003 the song would appear on S.O.I. first demo/full length, "Atmosphere" released under their own label, Spheresaxis. Sounds of deep, electronical, D&B, ambient, dark and experimental. still available at Blackbyrd Moozik demontown Alta. or through S.O.I.late 2003 - 2004 started to shift direction as more live instruments came into play. Kevin on electric & acuostic guitars and Sword on bass guitar & theremin. with this also branched another project by the name of Branded Oak, which is in a more organic state than s.o.i.. A Branded oak track can be heard dubbed to the s.o.i. compilation video in the video section of this site.spring 2005 introducing Trevor Depagie of DSOA INDUSTRIES to play bass and Jun Nakane on electronics/programing.
