Branded Oak was born in 2001 by Caoimhin (Kevin.S) of SpheresAxis ent. Caoimhin, an Asatru Pagan with a passion for Blues,Classical, Prog.Rock, Classic rock, Hard rock, Acoustic, Metal and Arab and East Indian music took his influences and merged them together to form a unique sound. Coming out of Western Canada, the surroundings of nature are a big influence to his music. The name Branded Oak was bestowed upon him through religious beliefs. Influences: oldies, world-culture, blues, metal, classical and last but not least my Dad. When i was younger we would listen to records (vinyl) together. When i saw how gentle he was with each record taking them out of their case and placing them on the turn table, and wiping them down of any dust i realized how much he respected the music.
