About Me

I Asked You Not To Tell Me That! is a blog I write dedicated to the absurdities that abound in this life. Click on the link to read more about it.

Music:

Everything but techno-pop

Movies:

Here's a list of favorites, not in any order:The Third Man; Shaolin Soccer; Life is Beautiful; Hudsucker Proxy; Kill Bill; Rebecca; Jane Eyre; Passion of the Christ; Blues Brothers Movie; To Kill A Mockingbird; Arsenic and Old Lace; Ten Little Indians, and '!' (this last one being my ABSOLUTE favorite!)

Television:

'Cowboy BeBop', for the theme music. Also, the old 'X-Men' cartoon, because it has killer violins in the opening theme, 'Lupin the Third', just 'cause Japanese cartoons are the bomb- 'Iron Chef' for the same reason. And 'American Idol', because, c'mon, it's American Idol!

Books:

There are just too many to list

Heroes:

God, and God's official baseball team, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim!:More heroes include all of our military men and women who bravely serve our country. Below is a link to a site that allows you to show your gratitude for all their sacrifices.
And, last, but not least, Ruby!

I was checking out some blogs the other day, and, as I've said before, it's not necessarily the blog itself that is so interesting, rather, it's the comments posted that stand out and command int...
