I am not Romeo

About Me

'Are you dead?', she asked.
'I've been gripped by solitude
And once frequented stale rooms,
But I am still alive', I said,
'You've quite clearly been Misled.
I am dead. I laughed.
'I've felt the frozen off-shore breeze
beat against my battered knees,
But now I see the neon gaze
Of the moon!' Yes, I exclaimed.
'I once ambiguously tread
The finest line of daily dread,
But for that, I'm more alive', I said,
'I used to be the one, Misled.'
NICK SILVEY WAS BORN ON THE 3RD DAY OF JANUARY IN THE GLORIOUS YEAR OF '89. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN BORN ON THE FIRST DAY BUT WASN'T QUITE SPECIAL ENOUGH.
HE WRITES SONGS ON THE BACK OF UNOPENED BANK STATEMENTS, THEN SINGS THEM WITH HIS MOUTH.

So far Nick has been fortunate enough to have been played on Radio One's Introducing show and to have performed in session twice for BBC Essex. He has also played shows and festivals with acts such as Frank Turner, InMe, Tellison, Dartz!, The All New Adventures Of Us, Luke Leighfield and Sam Isaac.
