About Me

Hello. We are from Southend-on-Sea in Essex near London. We write music and play shows for us and others. We hope you like it. We make independent popular music because of bands like The Clash, The Smiths (and a whole bunch of other bands that matter) and would love to come and dance with you. We just had the best time in the world on tour with Dave House and Lemuria, we met so many people that reminded us why exactly playing music is rad!

We've been lucky enough to have shared the stage with a number of great bands including Tellison, Tanaou, The Xcerts, I Was A Cub Scout, Data Select Party, The Wonder Years, Lemuria, Dartz, Example, The Maple State, Dave House, The Riverclub, Furthest Drive Home, Sam Isaac, Luke Leighfield, Encyclopedia, Gavin Osbourne and The Attika State.

everybody. everybody. close your eyes, we're nearly home.

Influences: elvis costello and the attractions. modest mouse. brand new. the smiths. the clash. at the drive in. minus the bear. the hold steady. black flag. trojan records. the specials.

Sounds Like: This band is of new wave jangly poppy indie music that fits in with the UK pop-pun scene. Saying the have played with artists like Tellison, Dartz, Luke Leighfield and The Maple State should gives you a pretty good idea of their appeal. The band is only a four-piece but cowbells, keyboards, and even a trumpet make an appearance on here. They hark back to the vocal styles of Brand New on 'Hey You, Space Ranger', and list influences from The Clash to Weezer. These four tracks are brilliantly put together, equal parts sing along and dance along, and even clap along on 'All Here'. Barely a year and a half old, these guys are going to get big of their predecessors are anything to go by. - DEMO OF THE MONTH - BIG CHEESE MAGAZINE
