Ultravox.org.uk - the official Ultravox website

About Me

Ultravox.org.uk is the official Ultravox website, run by Cerise Reed (that's me) and Robin Harris, still known as Extreme Voice or EV after the fanzine which started it all.
When our 'EV' fanzines first started out in 1984 with the first issue being printed in early 1986, it was a small, photocopied affair for the price of three stamps! Over the years it became a professionally printed Official Ultravox Fanzine with exclusive interviews and photos of the band, and in 1996 we launched this website. We finally wound the fanzine down in 2000 at its celebratory 20th issue, deciding that it was a good time to move entirely to the web. You can read the official Ultravox fanzine here , all 20 issues in PDF format, which should answer many of your Ultravox-related questions (and maybe even tell you a few things you didn't know!). The early ones were a little rough around the edges, so start at issue 20 and work your way back. Enjoy!
The site also features a wealth of press cuttings, photos, lyrics, shop, a history of Ultravox written by Warren Cann, an annual covers competition and an area to contact Ultravox directly. Why not sign up to receive emailed newsletters? To catch up on recent posts you can view the archive here .
