So, here goes..............................I like songs that bring back memories, strawberry tarts, Ted Baker clothes, early morning mist and old fashioned hardware shops. I like the fourth day of my holidays and the start of "Do They Know It`s Christmas". I like my family, honey on warm toast and shiny chrome on old cars. I like watching people meet old friends at airports, starting barbeques and the smell of the underground.I like my Italian aunts who squeezed my cheekswhen i was younger. I like Eucalyptus in the sauna at the gym and Homer Simpson. I like ice-cold Coke in glass bottles on a hot day, white fiat 500 cars and my best friends George, Scott and Gary. I like shop keepers who remember what I buy and seeing the lights on Christmas Eve. I like spider`s webs with dew on them, wearing sunglasses when it`s not strictly necessary and looking at my old photographs. I like playing along to music on my drums and making music of my own. I like my bed when the sheets have just been changed and the smell of ink markers, new books and warm bread. I like tourists asking me for directions, picking up smooth pebbles on a beach and finding someone whose body fits mine. I like whoppers, crispy rolls, ice cream with raspberry sauce and the feeling of satisfaction when I`ve just finished something difficult. I like people who use the wrong words in the middle of sentences and rice crispies with warm milk on a cold day. I like personal ads that make me cry. I like to smile at strangers in the street, because they invariably smile back!
