After performing with the TallDogs for the past several years John Sarkisian, original drummer of The Look, decided it was time for a change. John had been talking to fellow Detroit alum Bassist /Lead Vocalist Dale Fansler about working together for some time. Dale had been playing around the Detroit area for many years with the likes of BSA, The Inversions, & The Fashion Otters. Dale has a vast library of original material he is currently recording. With the rhythm section & Lead Vocals well cemented it was time to find a keyboard player. They put the word out to long time friend, another Look alumni, Barry Warner. Since touring with The Romantics, Barry has been writing & producing in the area for several years. After some growing pains & several guitar player auditions they finally were lucky enough to find the final Suspect, Gary Malerba. Gary has been playing around the area for several years, most recently with The Hot Rod Lincolns. He is also a well-known local photographer. His musical style & sense of humor are the perfect fit to complete the sound that is The Motor City Suspects. With the ever changing schedules of the members of the Suspects you never know who will be joining John on stage but you can always count on a quality performance.
