About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
Growing up Kinyoto always had a wide interest in music. He experimented with many different forms of music as a youth learning to play several different instruments. In 1992 Kinyoto moved from a small town in west Texas to Nashville TN. It was here he went to his first nightclub, and he began to gain an interest in dance music. Although at the time the clubs were traditionally Top 40 dance clubs, which were just the tip of the iceberg in an ocean of different genres of dance music he would soon be exposed to. In 1997 he moved to Dallas TX. and continued his fascination with dance music not yet knowing where it was taking him. Over the next 2 years the shift in genres would start as he began to enjoy more electronic and techno sounds as opposed to the standard top 40 dance that gets wore out on the radio. In 1999 he moved from Dallas to Atlanta GA. where a whole new club and dance music scene would be exposed to him. It was from these nightclubs that the desire to jump head first into the world of being a DJ first appeared. From the world famous circuit music at Backstreets, with DJ's Bill Berdeaux and Rob Ruem, to the deep progressive sounds of club Eleven50, with resident Gene Carbonell and guest appearances by the likes of Deep Dish, Saeed & Palash that the mold was formed and his love for the progressive sound came to light. In 5 short years Kinyoto has made a strong name for himself in the house music scene with his unique style of mixing Progressive and Tribal house music to move the crowd no matter where he is heard. In the beginning of his career he used the internet airwaves to get his sound heard to a handful of listeners and in doing so he developed a faithful following of dedicated listeners that has now grown to an astonishing 20,000+ worldwide when doing his weekly and monthly Internet Radio Shows with www.FonyeRadio.com & www.Braziliansessions.com .Today Kinyoto is pushing his sound out from the bedroom and Internet Airwaves as he is focusing more on moving it into the clubs where he has already moved the masses with his sets at clubs like: Therapy (Providence, RI), B-52’s (Atlanta), Club Eden (Charlotte, NC), Aries (Raleigh, NC), & Touch Ultra-Lounge (Raleigh, NC) just to name a few, plus having the privilege of rocking the decks along side some great local resident as well as headlining DJ's such as Will Monotone/FAMA, Fritz Seig, Chris Reavey, Rick Naples, BobbyC, Jeremy Granger, Kevin Kevamine (just to name a few of them GruvGlu guys keeping House music alive in North Carolina). With these venues under his belt it was adding gas to the fire...sit back and watch it explode!
